PORRETTA SOUL 2012 | Il programma
Al centro-nord dello stivale batte il cuore soul d’europa. A Porretta Terme, a pochi kilometri da Bologna, quest’anno il festival Porretta Soul compie un quarto di secolo.
The Bar-Kays, The Bo-Keys, Otis Clay, Syl Johnson, John Gary Williams, David Hudson, la rivelazione Robin McKelle & The Flytones e tanti altri, questi i protagonisti della 25esima edizione del Porretta Soul Festival che si terrà dal 19 al 22 Luglio al Rufus Thomas Park di Porretta Terme, a metà strada tra Bologna e Pistoia. Questo primo quarto di secolo del festival non poteva che rappresentare al meglio il Memphis Sound grazie alla collaborazione con lo Stax Museum Of American Soul Music di Memphis.
In totale sono previsti oltre 200 musicisti a cui si affiancheranno band italiane di rhythm & blues in un contesto che comprende mercatini, street food, seminari musicali, proiezione di filmati, conferenze e presentazioni di libri e di dischi.
